Course Description
This is an advanced training program designed for shooters who already possess foundational skills with a red dot-equipped handgun and want to refine their proficiency in dynamic, real-world applications. This class builds on basic red dot principles, emphasizing faster target acquisition, accuracy under stress, and techniques for shooting at varying distances. Students will engage in advanced drills to enhance their ability to transition between targets, shoot on the move, and address malfunctions or offset issues unique to red dot optics.

Safety Review and Reinforcement
Advanced techniques for red dot tracking and recoil control
Rapid transitions between targets and re-acquiring the dot
Shooting accurately at extended distances
Incorporating movement and unconventional shooting positions
Clearing malfunctions and troubleshooting red dot alignment issues
Rapid firing, testing dot movement and behavior. Is it returning? Direction?
Training for speed while maintaining precision

Who is the Course For?
This course is designed for those who are comfortable with basic manipulations of their firearms (loading, unloading, clearing malfunctions) and can consistently keep their rounds on an 8-inch target at 5 yards. Red Dot 1 and Defensive Pistol 1
A pistol with a slide mounted red dot sight
A MINIMUM of three magazines
A Independence Range Waiver must be completed before class begins

Open toed shoes, shorts, and low-cut tops should be avoided due to the chance of hot casings or debris touching the skin.
