In this hands-on class, you will learn the fundamentals of pistol maintenance, including disassembly and reassembly, proper cleaning techniques, routine maintenance procedures, and the identification and resolution of common firearm issues. How to safely prepare to maintain a firearm to prevent an accidental discharge
A review of the necessary cleaning supplies and products to successfully clean your firearm
How to properly breakdown the handgun to its basic components to prepare to clean and maintain it, learn how to identify parts that are broken or in poor condition
How to clean the firearm and lubricate its parts in preparation to reassemble
Proper reassembly, inspection, and function

Students that want to know more about the benefits of good firearm maintenance and safety
Shooters that plan to participate in regular shooting sports and will need to regularly maintain their firearm

Prerequisites
18-years-old and older is recommended. Under 18 years old must be accompanied with a legal guardian and be able to demonstrate a learning attitude and physical ability to safely handle a firearm.

No gun? No problem! Let your instructor know you will need to use one of our guns, and we will take care of it for you at no cost. We will do our best to set you up with a gun that is appropriate for your specific needs.
