Course Description
Women Only Basic Pistol 1
The Women's Basic Pistol Course is designed to empower women with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely handle and operate handguns. Whether you are a first-time shooter or seeking to refine your skills, this course will cover essential firearm safety principles and the fundamentals of accurate shooting. In a supportive and female-friendly environment, you will gain the confidence and competence to handle a pistol with precision and responsibility.
Course Curriculum

Learn and gain a strong understanding of firearm safety
Learn different types of handguns (Semi-Auto, Revolvers, & 1911)
Learn the basic components of a pistol and how they operate the handgun
Learn how to safely load a firearm, checking a chamber & storage
Grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, etc.
Range etiquette, live-fire exercise, and coaching

Prerequisites
18-years-old and older is recommended. Under 18 years old must be accompanied with a legal guardian and be able to demonstrate a learning attitude and physical ability to safely handle a firearm.
A Independence Range Waiver must be completed before class begins

Open toed shoes, shorts, and low-cut tops should be avoided due to the chance of hot casings or debris touching the skin.

No gun? No problem! Let your instructor know you will need to use one of our guns, and we will take care of it for you at no cost (ammo will need to be purchased separately, though.). We will do our best to set you up with a gun that is appropriate for your specific needs.
