Course Description
Church Security
This class equips individuals and teams with the skills to protect congregations during worship and events. The class covers threat assessment, situational awareness, and emergency response planning, all tailored to the unique security needs of a place of worship. Participants learn to identify risks, implement preventive measures, and develop response strategies while maintaining a welcoming church environment.
The training also includes de-escalation techniques and responsible use of force, including defensive firearm strategies where necessary. Through real-world scenarios, participants gain confidence in handling security challenges with minimal disruption. Whether volunteers, staff, or security personnel, attendees leave prepared to safeguard their church community effectively.

Open toed shoes, shorts, and low-cut tops should be avoided due to the chance of hot casings or debris touching the skin.

No gun? No problem! Let your instructor know you will need to use one of our guns, and we will take care of it for you at no cost (ammo will need to be purchased separately, though.). We will do our best to set you up with a gun that is appropriate for your specific needs.
