This training will build a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to confidently and safely execute effective self-defense.

Course Description
Defensive Pistol Program (USCCA, Advanced)
The USCCA’s Defensive Pistol Program (DPP) is a comprehensive course designed to help participants develop essential defensive shooting skills using both live-fire and dry-fire training methods. The program focuses on both objective- and performance-based training. Utilizing motor learning and skill-acquisition science, DPP ensures participants are equipped with the knowledge and practical experience needed to effectively use a pistol in a defensive context. This course consists of 5 modules over a 5-week course.

Must have basic experience and knowledge of firearm use, safety & basic knowledge of drawing from the holster.
Basic Pistol 1 and 2 required, or the equivalent in experience.
A Independence Range Waiver must be completed before class begins.

Open toed shoes, shorts, and low-cut tops should be avoided due to the chance of hot casings or debris touching the skin.

No gun? No problem! Let your instructor know you will need to use one of our guns, and we will take care of it for you at no cost (ammo will need to be purchased separately, though.). We will do our best to set you up with a gun that is appropriate for your specific needs.
