Course Description
AR-15 Build Experience
A hands-on experience where customers learn to assemble their own AR-15 rifle under the guidance of a trained and experienced gunsmith. Whether you're a beginner or have some firearm knowledge, this class covers everything from selecting components and proper assembly techniques to ensuring safety and functionality. With expert instruction, you'll gain a deeper understanding of your firearm, build confidence in your skills, and walk away with a fully assembled, custom-built AR-15. Be empowered with the knowledge to build and maintain your rifle with precision and confidence.
Course Curriculum

Detailed review of AR-15 parts (upper & lower receivers, barrel, bolt carrier group, etc.)
Overview of necessary tools and equipment
Hands-on instruction for correctly assembling and taking apart the firearm
Hands-on assembly of the lower receiver (trigger, safety selector, magazine well)
Assembly of the upper receiver (barrel installation, bolt carrier group fitting)
Options for enhancements and modifications, and techniques for ensuring proper fit and function
Guidance on cleaning, routine maintenance, and resolving common operational issues
Rifles are taken onto the range and test fired

This course comes with a complete AR-15 build kit. Each customer will be able to build their own rifle and will be required to complete a 4473 for the receiver, just prior to attending the class. (We supply an entry level mil spec build kit)

Prerequisites
Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult also enrolled in the course
Must show up before class time to process the lower receiver with a 4473
A Independence Range Waiver must be completed before class begins

Open toed shoes, shorts, and low-cut tops should be avoided due to the chance of hot casings or debris touching the skin.

No additional firearms are required,. Participants will recieve a kit and will be able to take home a completed working rifle.
