  STORE POLICIES

LAYAWAY SALES

Independence Indoor Shooting layaway plan is simple and easy and allows you to pay for your purchase over time. All layaways require at minimum a 30% non-refundable down payment. Upon the receipt of your non-refundable down payment, we will take the item out of our retail inventory and hold it, which at that time activates your 60-day terms. In addition, all layaways are subject to a $20 surcharge. During the layaway period, you can either make several payments, or just make one final payment at the end of 60 days.  We regret that under no circumstances will your layaway be held longer than 60 days. If we haven’t received payment in full when your 60-day term expires, your layaway will be canceled and all payments will NOT be refunded. Items on a layaway cannot be changed once the down payment has been received. Only one layaway per customer at a time.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Special orders must be paid in full when the order is placed, because special orders are not normally stocked in our Pro Shop. Special orders are non-cancelable, non-returnable, and non-refundable. The only exception to this policy is if the item is delivered damaged from our suppliers. We submit your order to our suppliers within one business day that your order is made. We work hard with our suppliers to acquire your order as fast as possible, but due to the nature of the firearms industry some products that are in “high demand” or considered “hard to get” may take some unknown time to supply. For these items, we try and get estimated delivery dates. The average lead times to receive most common products is between one and two weeks. Because we are at the mercy of suppliers, manufactures, and shipping companies we cannot guarantee delivery dates. We will contact you with any delivery updates, and notify you immediately by phone or email when your order arrives.

RETURN POLICY

Class Refunds

Independence Indoor Shooting will only issue class refunds if a class has been canceled. If you cannot attend a specific class for any reason, please contact us using the information provided below to switch to another available class section.

We recommend contacting us for assistance if you experience any issues booking a class.

Membership Refunds

A range membership can be canceled or suspended at any time, however, the processing may take up to five  business days.  A canceled membership is final. Therefore, if a person wishes to register for a range membership after they have canceled their former membership, they will be responsible for paying the registration fee again. Additionally, memberships can only be suspended for a period of three months.

Merchandise Refunds

Independence wants our customers to get the products that they want and that works best to meet their needs. Independence has a  30 day return policy for firearms and accessories. Independence  does  not return consumable or PPE items, with the exception of manufacture defects.

Range and Rental Refunds

Range fees are an admission fee to the indoor shooting ranges. Refunds for the range and  rentals are at the sole discretion of the employees that work the range  counter and the RSOs. We  only limit shooting time to an hour if there is a wait. Limiting range time in no way triggers the consideration for a refund. Customer are welcome to return and shoot in that same day.  Rental firearms are subject to work inadvertently or may fail from time to time. Work with the RSO  to determine the best option. Like substitute rentals may be provided. A miss fire or jam does  not qualify a rental fee to  be refunded.
