Advanced Tactical Carbine

Class Duration: 4 Hours


Class Description:

In this course, students will have the opportunity to engage in training often unavailable to civilians. This training includes:

  • Use of cover and concealment
  • Engagement of multiple targets
  • Intermediate low-light defensive tactics
  • Movement and handgun handling techniques
  • Pieing a corner 
  • Shooting from unorthodox shooting positions
  • Transitioning from a primary to a secondary weapon system
  • Proper use of a tactical flashlight
  • Decision making skills (gaze control)
  • Proper use of optics

Items Needed for Class: 

  • A positive attitude
  • Eye and Ear protection (clear lenses and ear muffs preferred)
  • Semi-auto carbine and at least two (2) magazines
  • Rifle Sling
  • 200-300 rounds of ammunition
  • Belt
  • Magazine carrier (preferably without flaps)
  • Carbine case and Range Bag for firearm transportation to the Range
  • Notebook and pen/pencil
  • Water and snacks
