Class Description:

In this follow-up course to Basics of Rifle Marksmanship, students will learn how to apply all of the theories that they have learned, namely:

Scope Use:

  • Minute of Angle (MOA)
  • Milliradian (MIL)
  • Diopter
  • Parallax
  • Elevation and windage adjustments
  • Reticles

Ballistics:

  • Ballistic Coefficient (BC)

Fundamentals of Shooting:

  • Aiming
  • Holding
  • Trigger squeeze

Items Needed for Class:

  • A positive attitude
  • A pencil and notepad
  • A rifle with a properly mounted scope 
  • A minimum of 40 rounds of ammunition
  • A rifle case for transportation to the range
  • Ear and eye protection (clear lenses preferred)
  • A bipod or shooting bag
