BASIC PISTOL

CLASS DESCRIPTION
This class introduces the student to pistol shooting. Upon completion, the student will:

Develop a solid understanding of firearms safety

Be able to identify different pistol types
-
Understand differences in ammunition types and their uses
-
Understand the importance of sight alignment and trigger press
-
Satisfactorily fire an accurate group at a reasonable distance
-
Identify essential range equipment

I've never held a gun before, is this a good class?

Yes, we also offer a New Shooter Orientation which will provide additional education that will be beneficial for for a new shooter

Can I wear my work clothes?

Yes, as long as you have closed toed shoes and long pants for safety​

What caliber can I shoot?

Any caliber that would best fit you to learn and feel comfortable​

What ear protection should I wear?

We suggest two ​sets (earplugs and earmuffs) we have both for purchase or rental

What is the minimum age requirement for Basic Pistol?

16 and older ​

Are there types of ammunition that cannot be used at the range?

No steel core, steel jacketed or tracer ammunition​
